12月到了！好多地方都已经迎来了初雪。又到了裹着棉被出门，行动不便的时节。要风度可能就没有温度，要温度就难以保证风度。鱼和熊掌都想要呀！冬季，你喜欢穿什么样的衣服呢？

一．配饰

当寒风刺骨，帽子、围巾和手套就成了必不可少的组合，或者还有耳捂子。

hat 帽子
scarf/muffler/shawl 围巾
gloves/mittens 手套
earmuff 耳罩

It’s freezing cold. Put on your hat and gloves, wrap your ears and neck with the scarf.
天气冰冷。戴上你的帽子和手套，用围巾把耳朵和脖子包起来。

If you don’t wanna wear the scarf, at least put on your earmuff.
如果你不想戴围巾，至少戴上你的耳捂子。

Notes: 1. scarf,muffler,shawl都可表示围巾，但scarf还可做动词，表示“用围巾围/面纱罩、系上、盖上、披上”，shawl主要指披肩。例：

Please scarf your face.
请用面纱罩住脸。

gloves和mittens都是手套，但gloves偏向于分指手套，mittens是连指手套。

二.冬衣

冬天的衣服种类也不少，但料子都以厚实或保暖为重。

woolen sweater/cardigan 羊毛衫/开襟羊毛衫
hoodie 连帽衫，卫衣
leather pants 皮裤
overcoat 大衣
cotton-padded jacket 棉衣

羊毛衫可以帮你保暖，这样就不用穿很多了。

That red overcoat costs her nearly one thousand yuan.
那件红色大衣花了她将近1000元。

Which one do you prefer in winter, a cotton-padded jacket or a down jacket?
冬天你喜欢穿哪个？棉衣还是羽绒服？

Notes: down jacket中的“down”是“绒毛”的意思。Cool!

She wears leggings underneath the woolen dress to keep warm.

她宽松的牛仔裤和这双短靴不搭。

in fashion/in vogue/the fad/be up to date/the current(latest) style  流行

Notes：vogue作名词有“时尚，流行，时髦”之意，fad是“时尚，一时流行的狂热”的意思，例：

That style is in fashion/in vogue/up to date.
那种款式是正在流行的/是最新潮的。

It’s the fad today.
这个是现在的时尚。

Your overcoat is just the current/latest style.
你的大衣正是最新的款式。

go along with the fashion/follow fashion/keep up with the latest trends 赶时髦，例：

She always keeps up with the latest trends.
她总是紧随最新的流行趋势。

I’m trying to follow fashion.
我正努力赶上潮流。

out of style(date)/old-fashioned/out of fashion/behind the times 过时，例：

Your boots are out of fashion. This pair of latest style suits you well.
你的靴子已经过时了,这双最新款的很适合你。

She's trying not to get behind the times.
